AACN Chapter Challenge Sweepstakes
In September, AACN will kick off its Chapter Challenge Sweepstakes on social media. The goal of this sweepstakes is to highlight the various AACN chapters across the country. Chapters can submit their entries by taking a picture at a local landmark in their community. The picture must include at least one AACN chapter member. Take the Pulse of Your Team Environment With HWEAT-Team
Assessing the health of your work environment is essential to create and sustain a workplace where nurses provide the highest standards of compassionate care while being fulfilled in their work.
Recently updated to assess the work environment of interprofessional healthcare teams, AACN’s new Healthy Work Environment Assessment Tool (HWEAT) Team is a free tool that highlights unit and organizational influences in the workplace and identifies opportunities for growth in each of the six evidence-based AACN Healthy Work Environment Standards. The online assessment takes less than 15 minutes to complete and produces a baseline report that helps identify strengths and opportunities. The report also includes a comprehensive toolkit to guide the next steps and track progress over time.
